Job Description

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a creative Web Developer to join our team and support the FAA and Enterprise UAS Services Team. Using a programmatic approach, the Enterprise UAS Services team creates applications and services that provide engineering and program management support for planning, designing, and implementing infrastructure to integrate Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) into the National Airspace System (NAS). Our team participates in responses to federal rulemaking by adapting current applications or developing new systems to serve the aviation ecosystem.

  • Job Responsibilities

    • Responsible for developing UI to maximize the User Experience (UX)
    • Design dashboards of operational status for customer
    • Build scalable web applications, including developing mobile applications
    • Test website interface and software stability
    • Create and use SoapUI scripts to perform live testing of third-party applications
    • Generate and maintain third-party API credentials
    • Troubleshoot third-parties' ability to connect to our internal API endpoints
    • Write code for websites and applications
    • Troubleshoot, debug and modify code
    • Collaborate with the team members on requirements analysis, design, configuration, change and risk management, documentation, planning, accessibility remediation and compliance, and security and quality assurance;
    • Establishes productive working relationships and maintains effective communications with teammates and end-users.

    Requirements

    • Knowledge of JSON and MYSQL databases and operating systems
    • Experience with CURL and APIs
    • Full Stack development experience
    • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
    • Strong attention to detail and well-organized, with the ability to work well in a collaborative team setting
    • Strong communication skills are required to interface with customers and collaborate in a cross-discipline team environment.
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to self-prioritize, manage, and adjust multiple tasks as the project evolves are required.

    Desired Skills

    • Appian Low-Code platform experience
    • Experience using Microsoft Power Platform
    • AWS data storge structure knowledge and experience
    • Creating Wire Frame Models

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
    • 10-15 years of experience as a software engineer assisting in designing, developing, testing, and deploying computer software.

Compensation (Pay Bands)

Salary at LST is determined by a wide array of factors, such as (but not limited to) education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time, 40 hour/week status. Part-time staff receive compensation at an hourly rate. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of LSTs total compensation package for employees. ** In compliance with local laws, LS Technologies presents this reasonable compensation range as a guideline for roles in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington D.C."
