Construction Project Manager - Water-Wastewater Treatment Plants Last Updated: 7/12/23
Dallas - Ft. Worth, TX - Full-time - $120,000 - $160,000
Currently looking for an experienced Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction Project Manager to fill an opening with a leader in treatment plant construction. Interested candidates must not have more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years and have 7-10 years of experience in this industry (self-performed treatment plant construction).
Responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager - Water-Wastewater Treatment Plants
  • Will be responsible for projects ranging from 50M to $300M.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets.
  • Run assigned project(s) to meet or surpass budget and on time completion.
  • Collect and code project cost documents and continually monitor and update the budget to reflect changes in work.
  • Supervision of Project Engineer(s) who will monitor project schedules and review work schedules for improving work methods. Oversee the timely submittal and completion of documentation required by the owner and agencies. Prepare subcontractor and supplier agreements to be executed and prepare correspondence to document changes in work or costs. Work with foreman and superintendents to monitor all activities to insure a safe and efficient working environment for crews, subcontractors and the public. Promote good public relations with owners, subcontractors, and the public.
Requirements of the Construction Project Manager - Water-Wastewater Treatment Plants
  • Four year degree in Construction Management or Engineering field.
  • Proven Project Management skills in Water/Wastewater self-performed construction
  • Skill in successfully leading project teams and preconstruction with structural concrete, mechanical process piping and excavation experience.
  • Team player with strong work ethic.
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Project experience in the $5M - $30M range.
  • Working knowledge of Design Build and alternative delivery methods is a Big Plus.
Compensation for the Construction Project Manager - Water-Wastewater Treatment Plants
The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $120,000 - $160,000 DOE, plus discretionary annual bonus, company provided vehicle/w gas card, Full Medical coverage and paid vacation/PTO. Relocation expenses paid for the right candidate.
