Lower Columbia College is seeking a dynamic, passionate and creative instructor to teach courses in Business for both professional-technical and transfer programs. The successful candidate will teach courses as part of the Business and Leadership pathway at LCC including, but not limited to, courses such as Introduction to Introduction to Business, Project Management, Foundations of Business Success, Salesmanship, Principles of Supervision, Human Resource Management, Management of Human Relations, Principles of Management, Starting/Managing a Small Business, Principles of Marketing and/or Business Math.
As full-time faculty, this position will also advise students, participate in curriculum, and program development, participate in professional development, engage in and perform assessment activities, attend faculty and committee meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.
This position will join a team of faculty, staff and administration who are collaborative, innovative, and supportive. The environment strives to foster growth and adapt to an ever evolving learning environment. Courses are delivered through multiple modalities and at various times including online and hybrid with in-person instruction required.
The Faculty position is 173 contract days (fall, winter, spring) with an anticipated start of September 2024. Courses are delivered at various times and through multiple modalities including online and hybrid with in-person instruction required. The salary range is $70,199 to $92,448 based on education and experience. (Please note the salary amount within this posting is reflective of the 2023-24 salary amounts and does not include any legislatively funded COLA for the 2024-25 year). The Business Faculty reports to the Dean of Instructional Programs.
There is required on-site visit on June 5th for applicants selected.
