Early Childhood Teacher
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in areas such as math, language, science, and physical education.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Ensure the health and well-being of all children in the classroom.
- Foster positive relationships with parents/guardians through regular communication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for children.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass a background check.
Note: Experience or expertise in math, child welfare, daycare, tutoring, or physical education is highly desirable but not required.
