Love-Less Ash Company is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Price, UT

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Accounting Team. This position requires significant attention to detail and, because we are a small company, the individual will potentially fill multiple roles outside typical AR responsibilities. Candidate must be self-driven, motivated, willing and able to learn quickly. This is a full-time, benefitted position.

This position is an in-office position.

Job functions will include, but are not limited to:

  • Process and audit incoming customer PO’s making sure they are consistent with agreed upon pricing
  • Answer customer support phone calls
  • Assist in applying payments to customer accounts and making bank deposits
  • Monitor the aging report for past due invoices, ensuring prompt payment from customers
  • Maintain customer/sales files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Provide support for office supplies and material purchases, running errands as needed
  • Cross-train with other accounting department staff to be able to assist with necessary responsibilities when others are out of office

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • This position requires excellent attention to detail, communication, and research skills to analyze and solve problems that typically arise
  • The candidate must have a strong organization skill set and ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Understand and be able to provide support for researching and resolving customer credit holds and evaluating new customer credit

Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent required
  • Familiar with computer programs, including Microsoft Office
  • Bookkeeping and/or AR experience is a plus but not required
