Love & Loyalty Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate the best quality of skilled care and long-term care for our residents. You will also be responsible for educating them and their families on the care they will be receiving.

The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will also be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.

The goal is to promote patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

• Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs.
• Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
• Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Provides routine care for patients.
• Observes patients’ health.
• Reviews medical charts.
• Accompanies patients to their rooms.
• Assists physicians and registered nurses.
• Communicates with patients and their families.
• Performs standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
• Prepares specimens for lab courier.
• Administers medications.
• Provides wound care.
• Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas.
• Assists with patient comfort.
• Monitors catheters.

Qualifications:

• Must possess active Virginia Practical Nurse License
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Hourly Rate: From $30.00 per hour
