Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Housing Navigator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, and knowledge of Fair Housing regulations. Responsibilities:
- Conduct housing assessments and develop individualized housing plans
- Assist clients in navigating the housing application process
- Provide supportive services to help clients maintain housing stability
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients
- Collaborate with landlords and property managers to secure housing options
- Assist clients in accessing community resources and support services
- Conduct outreach activities to identify housing opportunities
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Yardi software or similar housing management systems
- Knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, and other affordable housing programs
- Understanding of social work principles and practices
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to housing assistance

Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, or related field. Two years’ experience in social work. (Preferably with elderly and disabled and individuals at risk for homelessness). An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
