We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team. As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. Your role will involve greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.
*Responsibilities:*
* Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival
* Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide menus
* Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart
* Assist in answering phone calls and taking reservations
* Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service
* Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and proper set-up
* Provide accurate wait times and communicate any delays to guests
* Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
* Assist in maintaining a clean and organized lobby area
*Skills:*
* Previous experience using Revel POS or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems is preferred
* Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus
* Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
