Job Overview

The Supervisor of Digital Solutions leads a creative, solutions-oriented team responsible for the development and support of a large portfolio of student and family-facing applications. The team’s digital solutions projects include custom development using a low-code platform and architecting creative solutions that leverage existing enterprise systems. The Supervisor is responsible for leading the team in all digital solutions throughout their lifecycle from project inception to ongoing support, mentoring and evaluating staff, and managing budgets.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manages the Digital Solutions team, creating a team vision, building a digital roadmap of solutions, and prioritizing workloads.
  • Leads the technology teams responsible for identifying, creating, and supporting digital solutions and services.
  • Works with organization leaders to define digital-dependent outcomes.
  • Closely interfaces with other LCPS teams to improve and implement enterprise processes, procedures, and automated solutions.
  • Conducts proactive and reactive performance analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting and implementing change management and deployment controls.
  • Ensures secure systems where PII is protected.
  • Supports team training and mentorship, performs regular 1-on-1s with staff to identify opportunities for individual and team growth, and to identify barriers to positive team morale, productivity, and personal development.
  • Develops and manages annual budget and vendor relationships.
  • Prepares reports and presentations on development and integration status for senior leadership.

Qualifications

Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Technology field

Experience

  • Experience with high code and low code web development, project management, and customer service
  • Experience with system implementations along with an understanding of key concepts related to the Agile Development Cycle, Information Security, and Digital Transformation adoption
  • Demonstrated management experience, leading technical staff and development resources

Salary Range: $117,200 - $186,766
