The Loudoun County, Virginia Department of Building and Development (Department) is seeking a mechanical inspector to conduct field inspections of commercial and residential structures for compliance with the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) and local ordinances.
High school diploma or equivalent (technical coursework in building preferred); four (4) years of construction related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary Commensurate with Experience
Must become certified by the Virginia State Department of Housing and Community Development as a Residential Mechanical Inspector within six months of starting employment and maintain the required certifications in accordance with Virginia Certification Standards.
The position requires a valid driver's license, DMV, and criminal background checks.
