Lotus Care LLC is recruiting a Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team of independent living skills / In-Home Support services.

- Starting Pay: $23-24 based on experience.

- Female or Male Candidate can apply for the position.
Requirement:

· Staff will need to be experienced working with client displaying low to mild behaviors.

· Staff will need to be experienced working with clients displaying personal boundaries.

· Background in Mental health education or certification is required to successfully perform this job.

· Staff will need to be experienced working with clients needing personal care services.

Individuals that are well suited to this kind of work should be comfortable with the following expectations and tasks:
- Ability to sustain great energy towards the whole shift.
- Ability to be quick on your feet - to prevent elopement.

- Ability to teach skills to a person with disability

- Ability to record data

- Ability Provide prevention-oriented therapy
- Ability to be a job coach

- Ability to work independently of a supervisor in a relaxed environment while maintaining professional boundaries.

- Ability to be a positive influence in a person’s life and assist a person in making responsible choices.

- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

- Ability to provide Personal care

- Ability to provide homemaking

- Ability to assist client and provide cues to complete a task

- Ability to work with clients who are non-verbal and may use a communication book or an electronic device to communicate.

AM shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Location: - Coon Rapids

Each candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a Minnesota State background check.

- Starting Pay: $23- $24 per hour (based on experience)
Education and Experience:

Driver's License (Required)
Bachelor in Mental health education or Mental Health certification
Must have a reliable transportation.
