Join the Multimedia Production (CEA-MP) group's Print Production team at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) to inform, engage, and inspire LANL's internal and external audiences through the printing of media products. This specialized role will coordinate print requests through the Government Publishing Office (GPO) and maintain Laboratory design and brand standards through prepress quality checks of customer artwork.

Technical KnowledgeExperience operating general office equipment including various media scanning equipment and computer front-end equipment is important. As well as a thorough understanding of how to prepare and produce digitized files from print or other media.
Software KnowledgeYou will need working knowledge of print design, bleed requirements, and related software (Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office).
Quality ControlExperience in monitoring products for quality control and maintaining schedule requirements is essential.
Material Handling Knowledge of materials and best practices for producing displays, publications, environmental installations, and marketing items is an important job function as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Communication SkillsExceptional communication and customer service skills will contribute to your success in this position. The ability to positively contribute to the culture and evolving business model of a small team is also essential. Must have a security and safety-first mindset.
Customer relationsIn this role, you must have a demonstrated ability to analyze stakeholder and user needs and determine the structure, content, and format of communication products that best meet those needs.
CollaborationCollaboration is critical in this position, so you will need experience working as a productive member of an interdisciplinary team, including the demonstrated ability to develop solutions for a wide range of complex problems while effectively networking with peers inside and outside the organization.

Location: This position will be located in Los Alamos, NM. with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement (partially onsite/partially offsite) from a location within 2 hours ground commute of this location. Clearance: Q/SCI(Position will be cleared to this level).
