Human Resources-

The Los Alamitos Unified School District will offer a summer school program for grades K-12.
K-4 20 days June 17 – July 17, 2024 8:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Los Alamitos Elementary
5-7 20 days June 17 – July 17, 2024 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
McAuliffe Middle School
8-12 24 days 1st Semester June 17 – July 3, 2024 8:30 a.m. – 1:55 p.m.
2nd Semester July 8 – July 23, 2024
Los Alamitos High School

Summer School will be closed on the legal holidays June 19 and July 4.
Summer School will also be closed and unpaid for classified staff on July 5.
The following classified positions are projected and could change based upon need. If student enrollment
is less than expected, fewer positions will be available.

High School – Los Alamitos High School
Clerical Assistant III 29 days; 6.5 hours daily (June 11-13, June 17 - July 25; 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)
Campus Supervisor 24 days; 3 hours daily June 17 - July 23
2 Positions 8:20 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. and 11:05 a.m. - 2:05 p.m.)
IA-Special Education Multiple Positions (June 17 - July 23; Hours TBD)
Credit Recovery Program (Los Alamitos High School)
Clerical Assistant II (Tuesday/Wednesday, 2.5 hours daily) (June 18 - July 23: 4 p.m.-6:30 p.m.)

Middle School – Oak Middle School
Clerical Assistant III 23 days, 4.5 hours daily (June 11-13, June 17 – July 17; 7:40 a.m. - 12:10 p.m.)
Campus Supervisor 20 days, 4.5 hours daily (June 17 - July 17; 7:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.)

IA-Special Education Multiple Positions (June 17 - July 17; Hours TBD)

Elementary School – Hopkinson Elementary
Clerical Asst III 23 days; 4.5 hours daily (June 11-13, June 17 - July 17; 7:40 a.m. - 12:10 p.m.)
Campus Supervisor 20 days, 4.5 hours daily (June 17 - July 17; 7:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.)

LVN – (1-2) positions on-call from June 17 - July 23. Hours TBD

ESY Intersession, Special Ed/Autism Program
Clerical Assistant II 23 days (Weaver); 4 hours daily; (June 11-13, June 17 - July 17; 7:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.)
