QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid California Credential in secondary level Music and an English Learner authorization required (must
- NCLB compliant
- Major or minor in Music required
- Commitment to Los Alamitos Unified School District’s mission, vision and priority goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and work closely with a wide

- Ability to learn laws, rules, policies, practices and procedures related to public education and specific to Los

ASSIGNMENT
- Teach instrumental music classes in partnership with Instrumental Music Director/Jazz Band & Orchestra at a four-
• Marching Band and Auxiliary Groups Director (additional stipend)
- 186 working days; assignment begins August 12, 2024
SALARY AND BENEFITS
• Placement on Certificated Salary Schedule, with starting salary between $74,293 (Step 1) - $113,158 (Step
10), plus annual stipend; maximum outside years accepted nine; up to two years credit for Substitute
Teaching experience
