Hours of Operation:

M-F: 8am-8pm

Sat: 9am-2pm

About the Program:

The Therapeutic Mentoring (TM) program is a service provided to youth under the age of 21 in their home and in other community settings such as school, after school programs, or other community-based environments. TM services include supporting, coaching, modeling, and teaching age-appropriate behaviors, communication, social, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills, as well as relating appropriately to other youth and adults.

The Therapeutic Mentor Supervisor oversees a team of TM's, providing weekly individual supervision, document review and feedback, initial and ongoing coaching/training, and overall career and skill development in order to support them in effectively delivering services to youth.

Therapeutic Mentor Supervisor Job Requirements :

  • Provides clinical and administrative oversight to a team of TMs
  • Reviews and provides feedback on all TM work including, but not limited to sessions, documentation, billable activities, and collaboration with the hub and other team members.
  • Provides initial training and orientation to new staff
  • Supports TMs in ongoing learning, skill development, and career development including providing training/coaching to individual and groups of TM staff
  • Participates in supervisor meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and other meetings as scheduled
  • Ensures adherence to TM specs as outlined by the state
  • Works with program leadership in creating and implementing policies and procedures
  • Works with TM youth if needed by the program

Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed at the Master’s level (LCSW)
  • Knowledge of mental health diagnoses, family systems, community resources, and youth/family-serving systems (preferred)
  • At least one year of supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Leadership skills - must be able to lead a multidisciplinary team, provide education and mentorship to those supervised, and provide skill development and coaching.
  • Communication skills – must be able to respond to written and verbal communication in a clear and timely manner.
  • Time-management skills – must be able to manage multiple tasks, complete paperwork within a timely manner, maintain service productivity as established by the program, and able to adjust schedule for urgent needs as they arise.
  • Team-based skills – must be able to work within a team, valuing others’ perspectives.
  • Cultural competency – must value and demonstrate the ability to work with individuals of various backgrounds, be able to explore family culture, and lead discussions about cultural differences and how they may impact the work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
