GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

• The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for preparation, analysis, review, reporting and collection of customer invoices and all related Accounts Receivable activity for assigned business segments. This position will serve as a lead in the assigned area of responsibility. This is accomplished via regular interaction with Loram’s Accounting, Operations, and Marketing departments, and direct contact with Loram customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Customer Invoice Processing and Collections

• Processes customer invoices based on assigned business segment, serving as lead contact as questions arise.
• Works directly with Operations and Marketing departments to review contract or customer order information to resolve complex billing issues.
• Assists on collection calls to assigned open customer receivables.
• Maintains assigned customer invoice files and reports.
• Actively engages in, and successfully completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

Analysis, Reconciliations, and Continuous Improvement

• Prepares specific billing analysis as required for the business segment being supported.
• Identifies billing discrepancies and proactively review billing metrics.

Work Procedure Maintenance

• Prepares and maintains work procedures for areas of responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associates Degree in Accounting

Experience: 1 Years Working knowledge of various PC based computer software packages including financial spreadsheets and word processing. Proficient in Excel with working knowledge of multi-formula spreadsheets. 2 Years Relevant experience and/or training; Prefer specific experience in Accounts Receivable and invoicing involving multi-variable contract terms.

*Or equivalent combination of education and experience 3 years combination of education and/or experience in areas of accounting, accounts receivable, excel, word processing, and/or invoicing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors Degree
