Description

The Production Supervisor has overall responsibility for the safety, quality and production performance of their shift. They are a member of the Leadership Team. They will train and enforce company policies and procedures, complete associate qualifications, coach associates, and administer disciplinary actions if warranted. Must possess a willingness to assist with troubleshooting as well as operating production equipment through relief periods if necessary.

1.1.7. Continuous Improvement training and Team Building exercises will be conducted routinely and affected individuals will be required to attend.

1.2. Education and/or Experience- 

1.2.1. Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred. 

1.2.2. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 

1.2.3. Three to five years related experience and or training.

1.2.4. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

1.3. Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations- (None at this time)

1.4. Physical Demands/Work Environment- The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 1.4.1. Work around or near large machinery with moving mechanical parts.

1.4.2. Extremely loud (personal protective equipment is required)

1.4.3. Majority of work is carried out in a refrigerated environment with some work in hot (oven room) and extreme cold (freezer) environments.

1.4.4. Some heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs/18 Kg)

1.4.5. Work around or near Sanitation chemicals (personal protective equipment required, when applicable)

1.4.6. Work around and near food products including raw, partially cooked, and ready-to-eat (fully cooked) product environments (good manufacturing practice training required to enter the rte room)
