Duties include :

• Review and bill out HMO / Insurance and Medicaid claims monthly.
• Work with families, attorney’s and Masshealth to get residents approved for Medicaid.
• Investigate, resolve and process claim denials and resubmits according to the Insurance / Medicaid guidelines.
• Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements and other financial records according to established procedures.
• Entering census data in Point Click software, such as new patient information, discharge, and any other census information.
• Ensure patient account information is updated in a timely manner, including all patient data and insurance information
• Send out private bills monthly, review, research and respond to all patient inquiries regarding patient accounts.
• Daily deposits and post cash to patient accounts.
• Ensure overpayments / refunds are appropriately processed and applied to patient accounts.
• Post ancillary billing invoices in billing software monthly.
• Experience with (RFMS) Resident Fund Management Services.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements Include :

• 3-5 years’ experience in Billing and Collections in Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Experience with Point Click Care Software required.
• Candidates must be detail oriented with excellent computer skills.
