Long Term Health Care Facility is Hiring a Food Service Director Near Hadley, MA

Fulltime Food Services Director opening near Hadley, MA!
Monday through Friday, dayshift hours: 6am-2:30pm
Responsibilities:
  • Managing schedules and employee relations for a team of staff, including dietary aides, cooks, dishwashers, and other dietary services staff
  • Maintaining and managing department budget
  • Implementing menu-changes and alterations and scheduling meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner of residents within the facility
  • Managing feedback from residents and making changes accordingly
  • Ensuring proper preparation of food is completed by all dietary staff in safe and healthy manner, being mindful of resident allergens
  • Monitoring facility kitchen equipment and notifying director of any equipment that is not in proper condition

To join this team please have the following requirements:
  • Must have completed an accredited course in dietetic training approved by the American Dietetic Association and state agencies.
  • Serve Safe certification preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a supervisor capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related medical field is preferred.
  • Must have training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
  • CDM or CFM certificate (or willingness/ability to get one of those certifications)
