Legal Document Specialist | Paralegal | Attorney

Boutique law firm seeking experienced, reliable Legal Document Specialist | Paralegal | Attorney/J.D. | eDiscovery Analyst to join our growing legal team. In this position, you will work alongside our attorneys in a litigation support role and with clients across the US and Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • eDiscovery: reviewing, coding, and redacting documents for responsiveness, privilege, personal information, and other criteria as required on each matter;
  • eDiscovery: electronic document collection, ingestion, and processing productions;
  • Review/tag/redact/produce in Logikcull for litigation and Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs); and
  • Communicating with management, staff, and clients in person and via email, phone, and Zoom.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience ​in the legal field (law firm, in-house legal department, eDiscovery company​);
  • Professional and accurate verbal and written communication skills;
  • A self-starter who can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Stays focused under pressure;
  • Proactive ​about learning new laws​ and best practices in the eDiscovery and Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) fields​;
  • Excellent attention to detail to accurately track and manage electronic information for a large docket of matters;
  • Works well with/supports coworkers and team members to reach specific goals and deadlines together for clients; and
  • The desire to learn and share skills/knowledge with team members.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills:

  • eDiscovery: prior experience reviewing, coding, and redacting documents for responsiveness, privilege, personal information, and other criteria as required on each matter;
  • eDiscovery: prior experience with electronic document collection, ingestion, and processing productions;
  • Prior experience working in the Logikcull document database;
  • Preferred, but not required: experience with iPro, Safari, TABS, LEDES files, and Legal Tracker;
  • Experience reviewing/redacting/producing documents in Logikcull in response to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and the legal knowledge regarding redaction guidelines of DSARs; and
  • those who have obtained a J.D. degree (licensure not required).

Pay is $30-45 per hour, based on experience level.
