Job Description:The Office of the District Court Trustee is dedicated to enriching the financial lives of the children and families we serve by providing information resources, reliable payment records and fair enforcement of family support orders. We are recruiting for a Paralegal who is motivated, dedicated, self-starters who often working independently with enthusiasm, energy and passion to professionally respond with compassion and understanding to inquiries we receive. First review of applications for this job will begin May 29, 2024. This is an in-office position, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. The person hired for this position may perform the following tasks:
Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Administration, or related field and one year legal support, including legal research support are required.
Professional Paralegal Certification is preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Experience can substitute for education. Education can substitute for experience.
Candidate must be able to successfully complete background screenings and reference checks.
Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions:
All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments/agencies in a declared emergency situation.
