Position Summary

LGBT Network is seeking a full-time Program Manager to deliver and grow social, support, empowerment, and education programs for LGBT people in the Hamptons and East End of Long Island. This position works out of the Hamptons LGBT centers in Bridgehampton and Sag Harbor. The Program Manager reports to the Director of Programs, Long Island Region, and is responsible for:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinating & Deliver Programs

• Plan, prepare, facilitate, and evaluate programs and events for LGBT youth, adults, older adults, families, and other community members, including but not limited to, regular programs, seasonal social events, cultural activities, and one-time special events.
• Schedule and deliver community education programs in schools and organizations.
• Coordinate and organize school-based programs, such as youth mixers and assisting middle and high school students with their after-school GSA clubs.
• Support agency leadership with developing large-scale programs such as the annual LGBT Youth Conference and various Pride Initiatives

Conduct Outreach & Engagement Activities

• Conduct follow-up and program promotion via face-to-face, phone, e-mail, text, and digital platforms to new and existing constituents with the goal of engaging more people as participants in programs and events.
• Conduct community and school-based outreach activities to identify and engage LGBT people, including identifying new opportunities to engage LGBT youth into programs.

Program Management

• Provide day-to-day site management of the Hamptons LGBT Centers to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming space for community members.
• Work in concert with the Director of Programs to oversee the expansion, delivery, and promotion of Hamptons Centers programs and events.
• Lead and supervise East End program staff as the team develops and grows.
• Build relationships with community partners and represent the agency in local and regional meetings and community events.

Additional responsibilities

• Collect and track program participant utilization and demographic data, including data management, compilation of program reports, and assistance with grant and funder reports.
• Field and respond to requests for information, referrals, and support.
• Other duties as assigned.
