Lone Wolf Psychological Services is currently seeking a full time Postdoctoral Resident. We are looking for a therapist interested in working in a private practice setting seeing individuals, couples and groups working through relationship and interpersonal concerns.
In this position you will be provided the opportunity to work with clients with a variety of relationship concerns in a private practice setting applying a relational, cultural, psychodynamic, and attachment focused lens on clinical conceptualization, intervention, and treatment. This residency will have a focus on working with couples utilizing Emotion Focused Couples Therapy and the Gottman Method. Opportunities for additional focus areas and training including relational trauma, relationship growth and development, sex and sexuality, dating, premarital, divorce/break-ups, polyamory, postpartum/perinatal, and supervision. Postdoctoral Residents will complete required supervision and clinical contact hours for licensure during the one-year postdoctoral residency.
Lone Wolf Psychological Services is a part of the Authentic Connections Consortium which aims to train relational therapists. The consortium will include other licensed and unlicensed therapists providing for additional residency opportunities. Through this, postdoctoral residents will be provided weekly supervision and didactic as well as providing at least an hour of supervision for a doctoral level student.
Training provided:
Multiple training opportunities will be provided. During the residency you will have the ability to obtain Gottman level one certification and Prepare and Enrich Premarital Certification. You will be provided resources and support in completing your EPPP exam and obtaining full licensure. Regular didactic meetings will focus on specialized topic areas in the form of readings, presentations, and case examples. In addition, you will receive training in and provide supervision to doctoral trainee's.
Requirements and Expectations:
Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in working with relationship based presenting concerns, have training and experience working with couples, knowledge and utilization of relational based theoretical orientations, and open to working with varying relationship structures, gender expression, and sexual orientations. Candidates will be expected to have completed their doctoral program requirements and obtain Psychologist Candidate Registration from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) prior to starting residency. This is a full-time position and residents are expected to provide at least 30 hours of availability to schedule new clients while building a caseload.
