Lone Wolf Psychological Services is currently seeking a full time couples and individual therapist. We are looking for a therapist interested in working in a private practice setting seeing individuals, couples, and groups working through relationship and interpersonal concerns. Licensed professional preferred but the position is open to pre-licensed psychologist candidates.
In this position you will be provided the opportunity to work with clients with a variety of relationship concerns in a private practice setting applying a relational, cultural, psychodynamic, and attachment focused lens on clinical conceptualization, intervention, and treatment. This position will have a focus on working with couples utilizing Emotion Focused Couples Therapy and the Gottman Method. Additional training will be provided if needed. Opportunities for additional focus areas and training including relational trauma, relationship growth and development, sex and sexuality, dating, premarital, divorce/break-ups, polyamory, postpartum/perinatal, and supervision.
Benefits and Training:
You will be able to choose your own hours and have flexibility in scheduling in-person and virtual sessions. You will be provided a furnished office near Wash Park or downtown and will be a part of a growing group practice with clinicians of various licenses and levels of training to collaborate with. Weekly didactics with guest speakers and group consultation will be available. Additional training will be provided at the practice and a stipend will be provided for outside continuing education and certifications. Expectations:
Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in working with couples, have training and experience working with couples, knowledge and utilization of relational based theoretical orientations, and open to working with varying relationship structures, gender expression, and sexual orientations. It is preferred that candidates are licensed but pre-licensed candidates who have completed all doctoral coursework will be considered if they are a good fit. This is a full-time position and therapists are expected to provide at least 30 hours of availability to schedule new clients while building a caseload. We are a training center for doctoral students and Post-Doctoral Fellows and there would be leadership positions within the practice available depending on strengths and interests.
