Experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney - NY Bar:

Are you sick of only handling one aspect of a claim? Tired of handing off a case to someone else after crushing a deposition? LOIS' defense strategy will allow you to take ownership of a claim. You will work directly with clients on their claims from filing to closure. There is no better feeling than being responsible for a good outcome on a claim and LOIS is the place where we celebrate that!

Base pay range $110,000 - $140,000, depending on experience

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar in good standing.
• FIVE (5) years of experience in workers' compensation defense
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Represent client interests at virtual hearings and telephonic depositions
• Counsel clients on emerging issues in litigated matters
• Prepare exposure analysis and conduct settlement negotiations
• Consistently apply firm standards and tactics to achieve client goals
