Purpose

To provide support to the Resource Manager in the delivery of exceptional service to clients and a coding product that is accurate and complete.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Monitor client and internal department communications for coding policy updates

2. Assist coding policy modifications in CRM coding fields by following Coding Policy Update Manual

3. Update unable to code reasons (UACs) per coding policy change and notify pertinent departments

4. Monitor and create CRM cases to track client and internal department communications for coding related inquiries and issues

5. Analyze client coding history recorded in CRM, email threads, and in physical files to provide back answer accurately and timely

6. Assist in scheduling conference calls and take minutes

7. Maintain to ensure coding policies and templates in the Garden are up to date

8. Maintain Master Client List to ensure it is up to date

9. Maintain to ensure Coding Policy Items and Coding Specialists Manuals are up to date

10. Maintain and organize coding policy folders in the Garden and physical cabinet

11. Assist in other administrative work as needed

12. Adhere to the Code of Conduct and be familiar with all compliance policies and procedures stored in LogixGarden relevant to this position

Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Computer Skills

Prior MS Office experience, including proficiency with Excel and Word, and internet software experience required.

Experience

Prior experience and proficiency with MS Excel required. Coding experience and/or certification is a plus.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability

1. Ability to add, to subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure; this ability will encompass using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

2. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages

3. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals

4. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

5. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in a business manner

6. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

7. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

8. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision

9. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, use hands, talk, hear and occasionally walk and reach with hands or arms
