LMI is seeking a skilled Junior Systems Architect with experience in GEOINT to join a dynamic team providing end-to-end systems architecture services support an Intelligence Community client.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in designing IT architecture and system integration documentation to include process improvement, and functional and documentation analysis.
• Assisting in providing systems and data integration by linking data from multiple sources to conduct organizational and architectural analysis.
• Assisting in ensuring that systems architecture is compliant with federal, agency, and contract requirements.
• Analyzing alternative architectural approaches, and communicate the tradeoffs related to those approaches with engineers, government stakeholders, and users where appropriate.
• Assisting in designing and documenting the integration approach for interfacing with external systemsn
• Assisting in developing architectural runway roadmap to ensure that cloud and physical hardware, software, and external systems are aligned to accomplish developmental milestones and mission goals. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, engineering or a related degree.
• 5 years of experience as a Systems Architect
• Understanding of IT architecture and systems integration at the enterprise level that fits within the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
• Experience resolving problems integrating existing systems and application architectures.
• Understanding of Enterprise Data Management methodologies.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be self-directed, detail oriented and able to coordinate and work with a dynamic team and multiple stakeholders.
• Able to communicate effectively and confidently with end users, technologists, team members, and executive management.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Must have a current TS/SCI clearance

DESIRED:

• Understanding of DoD 8570.1-M (the Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program) certification/compliance requirements (including A , Network , Security , CEH and CISSP).
• Experience with Security and compliance activities necessary to maintain system accreditation (to include documentation and mitigation).
• Skills in executing the following tasks: requirements analysis, risk management, configuration management and verification, backup architecture management, infrastructure maintenance, and process documentation.
• Experience or understanding of Geospatial data.
