What’s the Role?

As part of Loggerhead’s Information Technology (IT) team, the IT Business Analyst will be the liaison between multiple business units and technology teams to define processes and identify process improvement opportunities. The IT Business Analyst will document stakeholder requirements, measure/monitor process efficiency, and develop and manage projects. They will coordinate implementation, testing, training, and communication efforts with vendors and multiple business groups. This is a business-facing and technology-facing role, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills to create alignment amongst multiple sponsors. A Day in the Life could include:

· Partner with stakeholder teams across business units (i.e., Finance, Sales, Operations) to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way.

· Communicate effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.

· Evaluate, analyze, and communicate IT systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.

· Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.

· Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.

· Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.

· Drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data.

· Serve as thought leader for technical business processes.

· Create and implement management plans for projects.

· Determine and develop user requirements for IT systems in production, to ensure maximum usability.

Knowledge & Experience

· 2 years experience in business analysis, project management, or similar role within the insurance, financial services, or other related industries.

· Property & Casualty experience preferred.

· Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present or lead discussions with various stakeholders.

· Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and experience working within cross-functional teams.

· Passionate about delivering high-quality work products and output, demonstrating a meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and excellence.

· Analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess risks and make data-driven decisions.

· Proven ability to contribute to multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of performance.

Education & Certifications

· Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Business or Information Technology discipline or related field of study.

· CBAP certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

· Hybrid work environment which splits time working remotely and at corporate headquarters.

· Required to work flexible hours and/or weekends as needed.

Travel: Minimum, as required.
