Logan Simpson has an immediate opening for a Temporary Field Biologist to be based out of our Fort Collins, Colorado office. This is a seasonal position, and the hours will be variable. This position is paid on an hourly basis between $18 - $22 per hour, depending on experience and education.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting field surveys and/or biological monitoring for invasive species, and for various wildlife, fish, and/or plant species and their habitats, especially threatened, endangered or sensitive species.
• Prepares/assists in compilation of field data.
• Supports other disciplines and other offices in accordance with capabilities and experience.

Position Requires:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Range Science, Botany, or closely-related field.
• 2 years of related work experience.
• Experience in conducting ecological/biological field studies.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to conduct surveys in remote, rugged terrain in extreme climates.
• Be able to work cooperatively in a team-oriented setting.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Exemptions from vaccination may be considered for medical reasons or for a sincerely held religious belief.
