Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent / General Foreman / Foreman

Reports To: Project Manager

Location: Twin Falls, ID

Position Overview: Loenbro is in search of experienced Mechanical Superintendents / General Foremen / Foremen responsible for planning, scheduling, estimating and management of multiple construction projects at multiple job sites. Will need to manage subordinates and coordinate activities of workers.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Supervise daily work of employees
• Verifies conformance of finished work product
• Ensures that all employees within the job receive proper training to operate machines they will be using
• Responsible for the successful completion of all activities
• Ensure all tasks are completed with the highest level of safety
• Manage both cost and schedule for self-performed and subcontracted work
• Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and other internal and external contacts
• Select subcontractors through bid analysis
• Negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Review and approve project invoices, to ensure vendor and subcontractor payments
• Assist in the implementation of QA/QC programs
• Consult with upper management to ensure all work procedures and constructability issues are resolved with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and designers
• Evaluate construction methods, determine cost-effectiveness, and discuss any concerns with Project Manager

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years as a Superintendent
• Engineering or Construction Management Degree preferred
• Experience with estimating, subcontract management, scheduling, and purchasing a must
• Construction background
• Ability to meet fast-paced, changing schedules and priorities
• Strong awareness of industry recommended practices, OSHA requirements, equipment, and QA/QC
• Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects proficiency
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel
