Introduction:

The Lodge at Natchez Trace is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver/Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care to our residents. The Caregiver/Certified Nursing Assistant will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance

• Assist residents as directed by a Nurse or Director of Nursing

• Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member

• Communicate with residents and families to provide support

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment

• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Caregiver/Certified Nursing Assistant

• Compassionate and patient demeanor

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow care plans

• Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility, as needed
