This position is for a new, capable member of our ADP Flight Test Engineering team, providing support for all flight test activities from Development, Laboratory, Ground Test, to First Flight and beyond. The candidate will be part of a fast paced, dynamic environment exploring state of the art technical solutions.
The right Flight Test Engineer will be tasked across the full flight test life cycle. From Developmental stages, through First Flight. This job requires customizing test plans to individual customers and circumstances. From assessing first software drop in a System Integration Lab to evaluating prototype aircraft for operations. From risk assessments to assisting in developing appropriate mitigating procedures.
During the Test Phase you may very well be the primary individual for controlling test execution, configuration management, troubleshooting, and asset scheduling.
Travel, overtime, odd shifts, and weekend work may be required.
**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**
A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

• Test Conductor or Test Director experience
• Experience and ability to create Test Plans and Cards

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $94,500 - $178,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
