Description:The JAVELIN Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) Team is looking for someone that is self-motivated with a strong background in business, finance, or accounting and who has experience in aspects of Program Finance and Earned Value Management. This position is for a Level 2 Program Finance Analyst who supports the Program Finance Manager, the Bus Ops Sr Manager (BMIT), and Program Management team.This position will be responsible for the following:• Day-to-day program finance responsibilities of managing program business and financial performance from proposal and negotiations through contract execution and closeout• Assist the program team and financial management in monitoring and tracking program expenditures, highlighting issues / concerns / trends, and ensuring program financial commitments are met.• Will interact with a variety of program and financial management personnel and ensure alignment with company and program processes and procedures.• Support Ad Hoc financial analysis requests from internal and external customers.• Effectively communicate performance to leadership teams.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Products with emphasis on Excel.Desired Skills:• Program finance experience to include monthly and quarterly program financial status preparation and analysis and Orders, Sales, EBIT and Cash forecasting experience• Working knowledge of the Earned Value Management (EVM) Industry Standard ANSI / EIA 748-A. Considered an emerging authority in financial analysis and EVMS.• Ability to multi-task and take on challenging assignments• Be self-motivated and have strong analytical and problem solving skills• Must be able to develop relationships and work effectively with others in different locations.• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint• Aptitude to facilitate results, self-starter attitude, process oriented, structured problem solver• Ability to work independently and work collaboratively with teams• Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills• Working knowledge of EFS (EAC, CSR Model, MDR)• Ability to present and interface with senior management• Tableau or financial modeling experience• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
