Job Title: Quality Intern

Department: Quality

Summary Loc Performance is seeking a Quality Intern who is a motivated individual and excited to learn and gain hands-on experience with our Quality team. The Quality intern will work in cooperation with the Quality Manager to aid in the completion of day-to-day issues, as well as long-term projects to improve Quality systems at the plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

Support the local and corporate Quality teams in daily tasks
Support Control Plan and FMEA development within the PLEX environment
Support Document Control activities
Support problem solving activities and process improvement
Complete trainings for employees, as it pertains to changes in Quality systems
Any other duties assigned by the Quality Manager
Must be able to lift 25lbs

Education and/or Experience

Must currently be a student working on a degree in an Engineering, Quality, or related field.
Investigatory and problem-solving skills
Able to work with multiple different individuals and on numerous different teams
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
