Job Title: Inventory Analyst

Department: Materials

Summary Performs regular cycle counts, use analytical knowledge, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and costing principles to ensure continuous systems and data integrity inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Continuous upkeep of inventory data accuracy in the most cost-efficient manner to reduce inventory valuation fluctuations.
Implement small- and large-scale physical inventory cycle counts.
Follow up on cycle counts and report root cause discrepancies.
Problem solving skills and attention to detail is critical in this position.
Ability to use (or learn) ERP systems, plex knowledge is preferred.
Ability to obtain and PIV license to move material within facilities as needed for inventory organization.
Basic Excel functions experience as needed for reports.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) equivalent and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
