- Conduct visual inspections and measurements on incoming materials, components, or finished products.
- Perform various tests and checks to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Identify and report non-conformances and deviations from quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results and quality control activities.
- Generate and update inspection reports and documentation.
- Ensure products and processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to address and rectify non-compliance issues.
- Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Provide input on enhancing quality control processes.
- Train and guide production and other relevant personnel on quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns and ensure the consistency of incoming materials.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments.
- Ensure that measuring and testing equipment are calibrated and maintained properly.
- Conduct regular checks on equipment accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding quality issues, improvements, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality-related feedback.
- Required High School diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) and three five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred associate degree in quality / bachelor’s degree in quality, mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering or related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge of quality control methods, tools, and techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
