Join the in-plant operations team at Loadstar at a terminal facility we service in St. James, Louisiana. This small operation is in a low traffic area, making for an easy commute, and specializes in the handling of just one product. Our goal is to help you start building your industry knowledge and success as an entry level Product Unloading Technician!
Working with Loadstar:

• Paid on-the-job training with no experience needed and opportunities for overtime

Pay and work schedule:

• $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
• This is a regular, full-time position with potential advancement opportunities
• Work for 7 days and then you’re off for 7 days
• Rotating 12-hour days and night with shift times of 5:00 – 5:00

What you will be doing:

• Daily unloading of one product
• Understanding and following operating procedures and policies
• Learning to operate rail car loading systems and equipment
• Training to perform general maintenance on equipment
• Assisting with other duties within the facility (general maintenance, landscape upkeep, painting)

Requirements for position:

• Have a valid ID or Driver’s License
• Are 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Ability to work outside in ALL weather conditions (heat, rain, sub-freezing temps)
• Physically able to climb up and down ladders safely
• Willing to receive general safety training
• Willing to work with a sticky, messy product
• Can carry at least fifty (50) pounds
• In good physical condition (able to walk one (1) to two (2) miles per shift)
