Currently we are seeking a Payroll Manager for our location in Carrollton, TX. The primary responsibilities of this position are to pay employees, compile payroll information by managing payroll preparation; completing reports; maintaining records.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience with multi-state/multi-entity/high volume payrolls.
• Ability to manage payroll process including timesheets, payroll statistics, maintaining payroll records, recording hours of work, calculating payroll.
• Knowledge and ability to comply with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
• Experience in Commercial Landscape and/or Construction Industry preferred.
• Proficient in Worker Compensation, Employment Law, ACA reporting, etc.
• Experience working with ADP, Aspire, and Sage Intact a plus.
• Must be highly organized and have the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good computer skills – proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Bilingual

Requirements:

• Manage and guarantee the weekly/bi-weekly disbursement of multi-state payroll, including garnishments, benefits and taxes.
• Ensure the processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, deductions, employee changes, etc., is accurate and timely.
• Maintain employee files (active and terminated).
• Responsible for I-9 compliance, audit of W-2, quarterly reports and y-t-d earnings.
• Directs compilation and preparation of other payroll data such as 401k (5500 reporting), OCIP/CCIP payroll reports, etc.
• Prepares weekly reports for upper management – including special projects required to assist in forecasting, job cost reporting, etc.
