Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Virginia, has exciting employment opportunities for experienced medical receptionist. A candidate with experience, medical insurance knowledge and great customer service is exactly what we are seeking! This full-time position takes place in a busy sleep medicine practice in Leesburg, VA.
General Patient Call Center Agent responsibilities include:
· Answer phones and direct to appropriate person and/or department
· Receive, categorize and process faxes and documents from physicians and other offices, including referrals, requests for documentation, insurance requests, etc.
· Enter all data into appropriate spreadsheet, software program, or form applicable.
· Schedule patient appointments.
· Scan, categorize and save all applicable forms into their appropriate locations on computer server as directed by supervisor.
· Communicate with referring physician offices at each step of their patients' care, from consultation to sleep study to follow up appointment and CPAP setup if applicable via fax or other method as directed by supervisor.
· Work with billing staff to provide necessary patient information.
· Effectively use eCW EMR practice management and billing system.
