Summary: LJA Engineering is looking for a highly motivated Systems Administrator to join our IT team. Under general supervision the individual is responsible for installing, configuring, documenting, and maintaining core IT systems and services.

General Responsibilities:

• Work in a team environment to administer and setup on-premise/cloud services such as, but not limited to:

  • Active Directory
    • User objects
    • Computer objects
    • Security Groups
  • DNS
  • Group Policy
  • Windows Based File Shares
  • O365 Environment
    • Azure Active Directory
    • Exchange Online
    • Intune
    • SharePoint
    • Microsoft Teams
  • Monitoring systems, performance, and capacity needs
  • Maintain and create system documentation.
  • Provide escalated ticket support and problem resolution.
  • Travel to remote sites as needed.
  • Participate in afterhours work as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience

• 3 years of IT work experience in infrastructure and server environments.
• Advanced experience supporting server operating systems and hardware.
• Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory Management experience.

• Ability to work in command line interfaces.
• Ability to work with scripts such as PowerShell or Batch files.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

• Associates degree in computer science or a closely related field

• O365 Administration experience: Azure Active Directory, MS Teams, Exchange Online, Intune
• Virtual and SAN storage environment Administration experience: VMware, Nutanix AHV, iSCSI
• File Share Management experience: Windows SMB, NAS Certifications

• Microsoft certifications
• Cloud based certifications

Physical Requirements:

• Sit for extended periods of time working on computer
• Occasionally lift or pull 35-80 pounds
