We are currently seeking an experienced and detailed - oriented Senior Accountant to maintain financial records and assist our Accounting Manager to manage general accounting and financial processes.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform the general ledger functions of the organization, including reconciliations, month-end and year-end close processes, and intercompany accounting.
• Review and assist staff accountants with month-end close functions
• Assist with ensuring compliance with internal control guidelines
• Assist with external audit requests
• Enter vendor information
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation records
• Assist management with ad-hoc requests, including special projects
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Required Education:

• BBA or BS in Accounting is required.

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years of proven experience as Staff/Senior Accountant or other similar position (public accounting experience is a plus)
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with an ERP system (BST preferable)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with multi-company processing preferred
• Must be familiar with full cycle accounting
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, without losing attention to detail
• Requires initiative based on familiarity with the organization and accounting practices and procedures
• Adaptable to multiple and frequent changes in business environment
