LIVunLtd is looking for a Finance Manager to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for all Finance & Accounting operations for the Fitness Services division.

This is a hybrid role with 3 in-office days per week. The primary office is located in Rockville, MD whereas the Finance Manager may also be requested to work in-office days at nearby offices in Owings Mills, MD and/or Frederick, MD.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Finance Manager, you will take charge of directing the financial accounting and reporting activities for LIVunLtd’s fitness services business division. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead comprehensive oversight of financial functions, ensuring seamless coordination of accounting and reporting responsibilities. Your duties will encompass strategic financial leadership, adherence to established company policies, and efficient administration of financial procedures. As the Finance Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to financial accounting and reporting, contributing significantly to the management and supervision of the financial team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership and Financial Management:

• Oversee a team of three to drive day-to-day financial management activities in-line with Company financial objectives.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales tax reporting, journal entries, and inventory ledger.
• Lead month-end close activities for the business to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.

Control Environment and Reporting:

• Maintain a strong control environment in compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
• Act as the primary owner of audit support and maintenance of SOX schedules.
• Prepare internal financial reporting data to aid in decision-making, including KPI tracking, margin analysis, and other ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Maintain financial reporting systems used in day-to-day financial management activities.

Process Optimization and Special Projects:

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for each of the ongoing finance work streams that support the business.
• Assist in company-wide new system implementation efforts, research projects, and new transaction, merger, or acquisition evaluations on an as-needed basis.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years in a corporate finance role
• Proficient in US GAAP
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams
• Ability to effectively communicate with individuals across functions and at all organizational levels, including executive management and operating personnel
• Experienced in NetSuite
• Experienced in Workday

COMPENSATION

The Finance Manager position with LIVunLtd has a starting salary of $100,000 - $110,000 per annum. The range above is a good faith estimate based on the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted.
