Job Description:

- LPN rates start at $30/hr and RN rates start at $40/hr

· RN & LPN’s utilize the nursing process, procedures and techniques to perform various duties such as evaluating resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and evaluating nursing care

· Supervises and directs care provided by unlicensed nursing staff in the delivery of nursing care to render general health care within scope of practice

· Ensures that temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital sign checks including pacemakers checks are completed and recorded

· Responds and reacts to emergency calls from residents.

· Notifies physicians, supervisor, family or other appropriate personnel when unusual resident condition exists.

Requirements:

· Valid LPN License or RN License

· 2-4 years of related experience (Preferred)

· Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, has ability to prioritize work and address emergencies as they may occur

· Knowledge of HIPPA rules and regulations and of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
