Responsibilities:

Data Strategy and Governance:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives, identifying opportunities to leverage data as a strategic asset to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Establish data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure the integrity, security, and quality of our data assets, in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Define data architecture principles and guidelines to guide the design and implementation of scalable and interoperable data solutions across the organization.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team comprising business intelligence analysts, data engineers, and data scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Set clear goals and priorities for the team, providing guidance and support to drive performance and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team, championing a culture of belonging and respect.

Business Intelligence and Analytics:

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of business intelligence and analytics platforms, ensuring they deliver actionable insights to support decision-making and drive operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs, and translate requirements into scalable and user-friendly BI solutions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of BI initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement.

Data Engineering and Integration:

  • Manage the design and implementation of data pipelines and integration processes to ensure seamless flow of data between disparate systems and platforms, including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Acumatica, and other SaaS products.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage, optimizing for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure data infrastructure and systems meet scalability, availability, and security requirements.

Data Science and Advanced Analytics:

  • Drive the development of advanced analytics and machine learning models to extract actionable insights from our data, enabling predictive analytics, forecasting, and optimization of business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven innovation and experimentation, and lead initiatives to prototype and validate new ideas.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data science and analytics, and provide guidance on their potential impact and applicability to our business.

Knowledge, Skill & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CDA, CDE, CDS) preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in leadership roles overseeing enterprise data initiatives, with a focus on business intelligence, data engineering, and data science.
  • Deep understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with expertise in data governance, data architecture, and data integration.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and build strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving business value through data-driven insights and initiatives, with a focus on delivering measurable impact and ROI.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think analytically, anticipate future trends, and develop innovative solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.
