- Experience in rebar fabrication or concrete construction preferred.
- Capable of prolonged standing and physical mobility.
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds and withstand extreme weather conditions.
- Set up machinery properly at the beginning of the shift.
- Manufacture steel rebar by cutting, bending, tying and performing other processes to meet project specifications.
- Read technical drawings and material bar lists to properly fabricate rebar.
- Perform checks on completed orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Assist in loading orders onto company and customer trucks, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures.
- Unload raw material for use in fabrication.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area to optimize efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies according to company and OSHA standards throughout the day.
