Live & Love Dance Productions is a dance studio located in Lompoc, CA. LLD offers classes from ages 1-adult of all ability levels. We are passionate about offering quality dance training through our mission of " a passion for living and loving dance begins here & grows here".

Currently hiring a SUB & looking for the potential of a few classes to take over for the summer 2024. Looking for someone with prior or current dance training and working with kids & prefer prior dance teaching experience. Please provide background on this.

Flexible hours Monday-Friday, and Saturdays Am/afternoon

Teaching position for Recreational jazz, hip hop, lyrical, ballet, tap and preschool classes.

JOB TITLE: Dance Instructor

JOB OVERVIEW

Dance Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned weekly classes, choreographing routines for recitals, and following class schedule with each class.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

Weekly Tasks

● Prepare lesson plans for weekly assigned classes

● Teach weekly assigned classes

● Close/open studio on an as-needed basis

● Find substitute teachers (when necessary)

● Take up other duties (as assigned)

● Attend studio events (as assigned)

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

● Friendly and welcoming personality

● Able to manage a classroom of students

● Ability to adapt teaching to all age levels and abilities

● Background in dance, dance teaching and/or formal dance education

● Great work ethic, including self-motivation, integrity, and passion for the studio

● Organizational & time-management skills

● Forward thinking
