Overview:

We are seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

- Implement lesson plans left by the absent teacher to ensure continuity in education.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Provide instruction, encourage student participation, and answer questions.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Maintain regular communication with school staff regarding any issues or concerns.

Skills:

- Strong curriculum development skills to deliver effective lessons.
- Proficiency in subjects such as Math, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education.
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Knowledge of literacy education principles to support student learning.
- Skillful in educating and guiding students through various subjects.
- Proficient in behavior management techniques to address student conduct effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
