Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Store Associate to join our team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. You will also be responsible for pricing and tagging inventory that is donated. Duties:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scan items, process payments, and issue receipts
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change
- Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and policies
- Answer customer inquiries and assist with product location
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed

Skills:
- Strong selling skills to promote products and upsell when appropriate
- Excellent organizational skills to efficiently handle cash handling and maintain accurate transaction records
- Experience in fashion sales or furniture sales is a plus
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures and operating cash registers
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred
- proficiency in or other languages is an advantage for serving diverse customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of stock management principles for inventory control purposes
- Experience in thrift store sales is desirable but not required

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
