Little Incredibles Early Learning Center is a small Child Care Center based in Columbus, OH. We are engaging, social, and inclusive, and our goal is to create a nurturing, stimulating, and welcoming environment for all children. Our unique programs incorporate a variety of educational learning theories while always keeping the child’s best interest in mind and allowing for hands-on, experiential learning.
Our work environment includes a safe work environment and on-the-job training. As the Assistant Director of Little Incredibles Early Learning Center, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our child care center in coordination with the Center Director. You will manage the center's programs, staff, and ensure that we provide high-quality education and care to our little superheroes. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, passionate about education, and possess superhero character traits such as leadership, determination, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring that all programs and activities meet the needs of the children and families we serve.
Create a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care, and ensure that all staff adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies.
Recruit, train, and supervise all child care center staff, including teachers and support staff. Develop and implement educational programs that support the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
Foster positive relationships with families and provide ongoing communication and support to parents and caregivers. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the center's programs, and make necessary adjustments to ensure that they meet the needs of children and families.
Manage the center's budget and financial operations, including fundraising and grant applications.
Ensure that the child care center complies with all relevant state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or an Associate's or higher education degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Preferred experience in a leadership role in a child care center or preschool environments. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and community partners.
Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing child care centers. Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
