All candidates must have a CPR and First Aid certification, fingerprint clearance card that is valid, a current negative TB screening , 6 months experience in a LICENSED child care facility, able to provide references, a high school diploma, and pass a background check.

ECE credits are preferred, but not required.

Our incoming lead teacher will be responsible for conducting a safe, loving and nurturing environment in which children can engage in healthy learning and play. You will be responsible for sanitizing and cleaning your classroom daily. You will be required to assist in hand washing, and instill healthy habits. Our lead teacher will be required to follow weekly lesson plans that fit the needs of your children and set reasonable expectations and activities throughout the day. You will be required to document the developmental milestones of children and provide parents with positive feedback in regards to the developmental stages. This position is for someone willing to build and maintain healthy relationships between children, staff and parents. You are required to follow all state rules and regulations, health department regulations, and CACFP regulations. The lead teacher will work side by side with a Quality First coach to ensure you are providing the best quality care as well as a child friendly environment for children.

All teachers are required to seek and attend monthly training under the Arizona Registry as well as classes and training offered through the Quality First grant program. Staff is also required to attend our monthly staff meeting.

You will be required to report to work daily at your scheduled time and follow company polices. We have a very strict policy for call ins and tardiness due to our nature of work.

This is a fast paced position that requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual. We are seeking someone with a passion for children to join our team.
